My Delena Rant: 'THE ONE' CONSPIRACY

(delenafanatic @ DeviantArt)

I'm TEAM DELENA! All the way… like ESFE (Ever Since the First Episode).

And you have to admit, the build-up was pretty epic! Delena’s dance, Delena’s first fake kiss, Delena’s first real kiss, Delena’s first make-out session, blood-sharing, Damon’s “I love you, so I can’t be selfish with you.” etc. All roads led to HOT SEX - eventually.

Monday Mistletoe: Memorable Smooching Scenes!

(Who doesn't remember that one?)

Have you noticed that Monday always comes around faster than the other days of the week? I mean, if there was a competition, the rest of the week would eat Monday’s dust ruffles!

It’s not a bad thing, though. I get to talk about movies, which I don’t just do on Mondays. But this time I’ll blog about… SMOOCHING. That’s right. Cover your baby’s eyes and don’t worry about your teens because we won’t be going beyond first base today… or any other day for that matter. *blush*

Snapshots: Boys Pick Up and Girls Role Play

Warning: This post contains some adult elements.

So I was supposed to blog a bunch of snapshots yesterday, huh? Okay, I’m as flexible as a stripper, so I’ll blog about it today and scrap the Sunday Songs theme. Or something. Go with the flow, people!

I was having a nightmare about forks last night and I didn’t get much of sleep. What I did get was a fresh bunch of ideas in the morning, which took a turn...

Love Story in the Morning

(Ray Kachatorian / Getty)

I keep having dreams and images in my head, of two lovers. I have written romance before but I usually just keep it in my head. Lately, those images have been so strong that I find it hard to keep them at bay, and why should I?

This morning I woke up with a beautiful story in my mind, albeit somewhat cliched. (It reminds me of the film All Good Things but does not end in murder. Spoiler much?) I won’t write down the whole thing because it will take me ages. After all, in my mind, it just took me minutes to record it.

Basically, a boy and a girl fell in love, but she had dark demons lurking beneath the surface and soon enough, those demons were too strong for either one to handle. He couldn’t fix her, she couldn’t get better, so one day she tried to jump into death. He got there just in time to save her from herself, and finally, he had no choice but to find her a safe haven: the asylum called Bleechthorne. She stayed there for years and he finally lost hope to see her again, as the officials would only let him write letters, which she never answered.

Henry in the Morning

It was hard to determine
where I ended and he began.
There was a glint about the way
he held me – like a broken child;
tight embrace, glib insanity.

I tried to break free from his
confining frame, strong shoulders,
wrapped around my lower back.
Strange angle to wake up to,
all shriveled up inside.

I regretted the way I surrendered;
no fight, no thought, no shout.
But the way he thought he handled
me, himself, and us in the morning
told me he knew nothing of love.

When the Heart Breaks

HEARTBREAK

I know, I know. It's a tough word to swallow. I'd be lying if I said it gets better in time, though it does in pushes and pulls. One step forward, two steps back. Then two steps forward, one step back. It's that deadly dance between lost lovers, which never truly finishes so long as they're both alive and in each others' lives.

One day, hopefully, there will be no stepping back. Though I'm not counting on it. Being human means to hold reflection. It's how we judge the world.

And so, I've looked and looked for a poem to capture this moment in time and how I feel sometimes (early in the morning, late at night), and I found this on an old Word document. Did I know back then what I would go through, or did I foolishly think this was beautiful and pure, with no dark tints between its fine lines?

This is for all of you out there who -sometimes- feel the same.

The Six-Words Collection

Hello, fellow tweeps! Yesterday (May 17th), the news of the 6-word ‘Momoirs’ on the New York Times (http://nyti.ms/iOs14s) took Twitter by storm, so some of us decided to invent our own 6-wordsies on various topics. We pretty much ran wild with it! So, naturally, I couldn’t resist putting them all together. Apart from #sixwords, there’s also #fourwords and #fivewords, and if there were more of me, I’d have included those too.

Hope I didn’t forget anyone! Also, if you have a FAVORITE or would like to CONTRIBUTE more #sixwords, feel free to do so here. Just bear in mind I won’t be checking the channels anymore, because it’s too addictive! So, lo and behold! Counter-alphabetized, THE 6-WORDS COLLECTION.

P.S. Thanks to all contributions and I hope everyone enjoys!
