Monday Mistletoe: Memorable Smooching Scenes!

(Who doesn't remember that one?)

Have you noticed that Monday always comes around faster than the other days of the week? I mean, if there was a competition, the rest of the week would eat Monday’s dust ruffles!

It’s not a bad thing, though. I get to talk about movies, which I don’t just do on Mondays. But this time I’ll blog about… SMOOCHING. That’s right. Cover your baby’s eyes and don’t worry about your teens because we won’t be going beyond first base today… or any other day for that matter. *blush*

TV Thursday: Switched at Birth

I found myself a new series to watch! Don’t I always…

Switched at Birth follows the lives of two teenage girls who were switched at birth, and their families who struggle with the new ‘situation’. One family is wealthy, the other consists of one parent and lots of financial struggling. I love watching the families’ dynamics. Imagine having to watch another person raise your baby, or having to consult others on how to raise your own baby! Madness.

What I've Learned from TV Series, Pt. 2

Here we go with some more lessons!

Still Running:

·         Desperate Housewives: A neighbourhood is a big blob of people. Secrets don’t last long, and people do not stay young forever either.
·         Grey’s Anatomy: Whatever crap life brings you, you give it crap as well. Oh, and make the actors narrate wise gems for flavour.
·         One Tree Hill: When dialogues turn sappy, it’s time to end the show. Again, gems!
·         Smallville: Never. End. A. Show. Not until you’ve exhausted all possible plot twists and added all possible characters to the mix. Ugh.

What I've Learned from TV Series

Here’s something you (probably) do not know about me. I am OBSESSED with TV shows. So much so, they’ve taken up a large percentage of my life so far. There’s something to think about and re-evaluate… Anyway, most of these I’ve loved, some I’ve hated and stopped watching, but I’ve applied ‘tough love’ to both. How else will these babies grow and learn?
Well, the ones that are still running anyway.

Trendy Right Now:

·         American Idol: Talent is judged by a person’s likability, apparently.
·         Gossip Girl: Never reveal the identity of the invisible narrator. Sound familiar?
·         House: Even hopeless people can love and have their heart broken. At least they saw it coming, right?
·         How I Met Your Mother: Never reveal who the mother is. It’s the cliffhanger that would NEVER END! Love it.
·         Pretty Little Liars: It’s not okay to look like an over-sized doll. It doesn’t help facial expressions either.
·         The Vampire Diaries: It’s okay to love two brothers. Just don’t sleep with both at the same time, or else they’ll never forgive you.
