New Blog Themes: Calling for Submissions!

I have never been really good at sticking to a blog schedule. 

I mean, I love having blog themes and all, but when I “program” something, it turns into a chore for me. Ever happen to you? So I came up with a fascinating solution to my mundane problem. I’ll feature other people on theme days!

We've Got a WINNER!!!

Last week the Life List Club celebrated 3 months ofexistence. To commemorate the occasion, my fellow life listers and I offered an exciting number of giveaways to our faithful followers/commenters.

My giveaway was an in-depth 2-chapter critique of your WIP. I will extend it by adding that you can change it for a guest spot of any topic/length/etc. on my blog OR taking part in my new SECRET project this month. I’ll let the winner choose which sounds best.

You know I was itching for a collaboration, didn’t you?

I check my traffic stats religiously. What I’m mostly obsessed about are the google searches that land people on my blog. But the idea for this post didn’t come from that. I read Roni Loren’s blog about her search jewels ages ago, and I was impressed by people’s savvy ways to find information online (not). Furthermore, someone reminded me of this on twitter last week, so I decided to nose around and gather up some google dirt for you guys. (Because I love you and I want you to live long lives—laughing helps.)

Strange Saturday Snapshots

I OD'ed on social media. This is a cautionary tale.

This past week was pretty crazy. I blogged about a lot of things, added some stuff to my blog, updated my story blog (FINALLY) and made a mock-up book cover, joined a club, postponed buying plane ticket, and even joined Google+! So crazy that I (almost) had no time for life! *sigh*

So I think I snapped, which is why I'll keep words to a minimum today.

Wise Winamp Wednesday: Ask the All-Knowing

Today, I’m going to share my favorite game with you.

(Yes, this is how I like to procrastinate.)

Apart from playing around with Tarot Cards, I like to kick back with a game which is equally prophetic but much more fun. For those of you who believe in divine intervention and those of you who don’t give a sh*t, I have a way of ‘knowing’ things. It’s mainly because I have a very good all-knowing friend (not to be confused with a know-it-all) who’s always there to lend me some perspective and wisdom whenever I need it.

I have a good feeling about this week. I’m full of energy, I’m awake, and I’m living the dream: one tiny step at a time. To a Capricorn, that’s very much the point.

You think I’m demented, don’t you? I’m not published, currently in editing hell, and I’m barely out of college, soon to be homeless, so what’s so dreamy about that?

I’ll tell you what.

Happy lazy Sunday!

S.S. is yet another blog feature. No, not Secret Service! (as if)

For the first time today, I wasn’t sure what to blog about. While I have plenty of ideas, most revolve around writing. (Drag!) The rest touch on social media. Overdone much?

Then I caught a few ideas floating about my brain-closet, like that annoying tune by Rebecca Black Friday (OH MY GOD, JUST MAKE IT STOP: brain leak). It seems that the whole thing about Friday flash had struck a chord, albeit an overplayed one.

Time for Blog Fun: Game of Tag

So I’ve been tagged by the lovely Angela. I often check out to see what she’s been up to on her lovely blog, and she’s a very nice tweep to have around. Go check her out in her cyber lair! 

And this game of tag sounded so fun that I bravely jumped into the depths of my brain-closet to fish out answers to existensial questions such as… *blinks* ‘Are you hot??’ Well, sure, I guess it’s a silly game them. I sure love those!
