It's ALIVE!!!!!!!
Happy #WW to everyone! As you may know, Wednesdays are reserved for Writers Worth on Twitter, and this is why I named my brand new site after this beloved tradition.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out this post. I know the Author Intros were supposed to be a feature on this blog, but I couldn't help myself... my organizational brain parts wouldn't allow it. Simply because I wanted to keep the intros separate and systematic. Not just cluttered around my blog posts!
However, the WW site and this blog will still be linked in a sense that any updates or news or new features or whatever will be posted here at 'Against the Odds'... just because I want to keep the connection alive. After all, I want all my babies to point back to the Mothership as it were. You get it, right?
Anyway, there you have it. A brand new place to flaunt your style, your brand, your books, your services, and everything you're interested in. The site is meant to promote writers and introduce everyone to everyone else. It's also going to have News & Events, so if you have anything exciting and writerly coming up (events, giveaways, promotions), give me a shout out and I'll include it on the page.
Also, keep those intros coming. Everyone's welcome to contribute, as long as you're a book-lover! But before you do, follow the guidelines. I've been updating them a lot -- in my own OCD way -- so pay attention to the updates, please. Most importantly, SPREAD THE WORD! I enjoy meeting new people immensely, so whether you're a writer, agent, design artist, or book addict, come and join the frenzy.
Oh and remember: Writers Worth DOES NOT discriminate anyone in any way! Whether you are self-published or traditionally published, whether you're an aspiring writer or big-time journalist, you are always welcome to contribute. ALWAYS. This is why I'll appreciate everyone being nice to one another.
The only differentiation will occur in the blog's sidebar, where I will put everyone's name under a fitting label... like 'writers' or 'agents' or editors', etc. So come on, COME ALL!!! *goes hoarse*
Think of it as one big happy (slightly off-kilter) dysfunctional family. Heheh.
Enough blabbing. Head over to the site and meet Casondra Brewster (or else @mamacasz66 on twitter), Indie Author, Freelance Editor, and FICTION FARMER. She'll make you grin. :) Don't be shy, come and say hello!
